4″ Scale Burrell Live Steam Traction Engine Ross Pop Safety Valves (STW/JRME/LSM)

This is quite an exciting product we had been asked to make by a customer. He has a 4″ Scale Burrell but did not like the unreliability of his Ramsbottom safety valves and asked what we could do. Our solution was these plates machined from Solid on our CNC to take Ross Pop Safety valves. Then a tube is placed over the top with the burrell brass tops at the top. These are drilled to let the steam escape from the valves. With the addition of the burrell style spring and S/S donkey arm it makes for an exact lookalike to the Ramsbottoms but with the reliability of Ross pops! These can be easily adjusted while In steam with the tubes then secured back in place! These have been manufactured to Live Steam Models drawings centres but I believe fit STW models (please check centre with us). That is for ready to fit valves (Inc the Ross pops set on water at your requited pressure, can be set up to 170 PSI)
