Our Story
JRME was founded by John in 1993, inspired by a lifelong passion for model engineering shared with his grandad. Together, they built a couple of engines, sparking a deep love for the craft in John. When John was let go from his job, he decided to turn his cherished hobby into his life’s work, setting up the company with a vision to create the best model steam vehicles in the industry.
In 2002, JRME moved into its own premises, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our growth. Over the years, we have continuously expanded, always striving to enhance our capabilities and services to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
