4″ Scale Burrell Live Steam Traction Engine Handpump Kit

Tired of the fiddly Injector letting you down on steam test day? This is the answer! The second means of getting water into your boiler. Also Great if you just need a bit extra water before steaming up at a rally but with no hose in sight!

These are a kit of parts to fit onto the 4″ Scale Burrell Traction Engine. The pictures shown are on a STW DCC Road locomotive that we built. But they will fit any model SC/SCC/DCC/Showmans etc as long as they are on 3/8 Pipe. Shown in the pictures is a 1/4 Ram hand pump but we have changed this now as it keeps al the pipes one uniform size and also give a larger slug of water with each pump! As can be seen, this has been Tee’d into the existing water pump pipe (just before the clack) and fitted with a Check valve both on the new pipe and the waterpump pipe. The Pipe will go Under the front of the tender as shown, under the gearguard and up.
